Whether it’s onsite winemaking facilities, miniature pygmy goats and handsome Herefords or abundant vegetable and micro-herb gardens, every farm stay offers a unique experience for the consumer. Gather family and friends and book a stay this winter.
Five Acres
Launched in April 2021, the Cabins at Five Acres Farmstay on Phillip Island offer the region’s first luxury boutique accommodation. Extensive vegetable gardens provide abundant produce and the chickens, goats, sheep and two highland cows are beautiful pets and play a crucial role in creating nutrient-rich compost for the farm. The three standalone cabins each feature custom furniture and skilful joinery, which maximise the intimate footprint of the room. The floorplan boasts a generous bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, log fire and inbuilt sunken living space. As well as a luxurious bath on the deck, with sweeping views of Western Port Bay. 46 Mchaffies Ln, Ventnor, Victoria, 3922.
Buller Roo
Perched on a hilltop with jaw dropping views across the Barwite Valley to the Broken River, BullerRoo offers luxurious lodgings, incredible night skies and adorable miniature pygmy goats, which are popular with the entire family. Located near Mansfield at the gateway to the Victorian alps, BullerRoo is a unique destination offering warmth and comfort and the ultimate relaxation. The cosy living area boasts plenty of unique hand-crafted features and the fully equipped kitchen offers top quality finishes and appliances as well as amazing views. The stylish master bedroom boasts a beautiful king bed whilst the second bedroom offers a queen with single bunk. The pièce de résistance is the stunning roof terrace, offering an outdoor barbecue and bar and beautiful sunsets all year round. 177 Melba Rd, Mansfield, Victoria, 3722
Fellcroft Farm
A place to relax, unwind and reconnect, Fellcroft Farm has been designed exclusively with couples in mind. The cosy space captures the stunning views of Mt Macedon, Hanging Rock and Camel’s Hump and each of the quarters benefits from beautiful French doors opening up to expansive decks that maximise enjoyment of these exclusive vistas. Interiors have been curated with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furnishings, some from Fellcroft’s long history – the Crozier family has been farming in the foothills of the Cabaw State Forest since 1862. The palette in both quarters has been inspired by the surrounding forest, seasonal fields and big skies, with guests able to immerse themselves in these natural assets during a stay. Complimentary local wine and cheese are provided on arrival along with an extensive breakfast hamper. 38 McKinley Track, Cobaw, Victoria, 3442
