Summer Night Markets

Queen Victoria Night Market

Melbourne’s original and iconic Night Market returns to the Queen Victoria Market for its biggest summer yet. Explore over 130 global street food and shopping stalls, sample the freshest summer drinks and enjoy free live local entertainment.

Exciting new food offerings to try this summer include Portuguese tarts from Casa Nata, Israeli falafel pita pockets from Falafel Arayes, traditional Filipino cuisine by Kuya's Simply Pinoy’s and African barbecue from Tasty Suya.

With such a central location, the market is a great spot to catch up with friends and family after work and relax at the Gin Springs bar and sip refreshing fruit cocktails before testing your skills at The Night Court pop-up volleyball court.

The Queen Victoria Summer Night Market is on every Wednesday from November to 11 March (except Christmas and New Year's Day), 5.00pm-10.00pm.

South Melbourne Night Market

The South Melbourne Night Market will be returning to the streets of South Melbourne this summer. For five glorious weeks, the city’s oldest Market transforms into a magical street festival with food, market stalls and free entertainment for all ages. Festivities will also kick off from midday, meaning maximum hours to enjoy extended shopping hours to be entertained with live cooking demonstrations, have a drink and bite to eat with friends and visit your favourite traders.

The South Melbourne Market is open every Wednesday from 1 January to 5 February, 12.00pm – 9.30pm.

St Kilda Twilight Market

Join in the festivities at the St. Kilda Twilight Market as it celebrates its 10th year. Located in the O’Donnell Gardens beneath the palm trees with Luna Park as the backdrop, it’s the perfect setting to spend a Thursday evening catching up with friends. Explore an array of artworks, vintage wear, craft, hand designed fashion and jewellery, exotic clothes, produce, emerging designers and foods of the world.  As the day turns to twilight and the stars come out delight in finding a treasure that you never knew existed in St. Kilda.

The St Kilda Twilight Market is open every Thursday from 28 November -13 February, 5.00-10.00pm.

Dandenong Night Market

Head to the Dandenong Market’s first ever night market. Held across four Thursdays in January, the market will be extending its hours to help you kick on the summer festivities. Inspired by Asia’s famous outdoor markets, there will be an amazing choice of street food to excite your taste buds. Celebrate the areas diverse patchwork of nationalities contributing to its incredible culinary scene while being entertained by roving artists, street theatre and cultural performances.

The Dandenong Night Market is open every Thursday from 9 January – 30 January 4.30pm-9.30pm.

Northcote Night Market

Make It Collective’s all-new Northcote Night Market is set to take over the Northcote Town Hall Arts Centre for two Thursday evening’s this December. With locally makers selling their wares, tt’s a great opportunity to chat and get to know some of Melbourne's thriving creative community. Wander the aisles and meet the makers as you hand pick gifts for friends and family, or better yet, yourself. The market will showcase a curated selection of over 60 stallholders, exclusively selling locally designed and handcrafted items, including fashion, textiles, beauty products, plants, jewellery, ceramics, woodcrafts and more. Both nights will feature a great line-up of live music, a licensed bar and delicious food.

The Northcote Night Market is open Thursday 12th and 19th December, from 5.30pm-9.30pm.
