MPavilion unveiled
- Written by Victorian Government
MPavilion is back for summer 2016 (5 October 2016 – 18 February 2017). This time, the temporary structure is designed by acclaimed Indian architect Bijoy Jain of Studio Mumbai. As part of an international movement in handmade architecture, MPavilion 2016 uses bamboo, stone and rope to create a 12 metre-high structure.
Located in Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Gardens, MPavilion is a free public event, brought to life by a program of over 400 free public events including talks, tours, music performances, art installations and fashion presentations.
