Vivid Takes Over Accor's Harbour View Hotels

11 May 2015. Boasting some of Sydney's best hotels for viewing Vivid 2015, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour and Harbour Rocks Hotel are going all out to entertain Vivid-goers from 22 May to 8 June 2015.                         

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour

Vivid Degustation & Family-Friendly sittings at Q Dining

Enjoying spectacular views overlooking the harbour, Q Dining restaurant at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour will be offering guests a 5-course degustation menu while taking in the light show from the comfort of your table. Degustation dinner menu commences at 7:30pm and is $120 per person.

For families looking to enjoy the Vivid spectacular, Q Dining is also offering a family friendly sitting from 5:30-7:30pm. A-la-carte dining options are available and all children dine for free and receive a free Vivid Goodie bag.

Vivid Happy Hour at ECQ Bar

Encased by glass and with picture-perfect views of the Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay, the vibrant ECQ Bar at Pullman Quay Grand will be shaking up Vivid-inspired cocktails from 6-7pm during Vivid festival, plus giveaways will be on offer.

Three Vivid-esque cocktails will be shaken and stirred for revelers, with Vivid #1 cocktail comprising Sagatiba infused piñnaple with cardamom, fresh pineapple, sugar and lime juice.

With an extensive bar and snack menu also on offer, locals and tourists alike are invited down to one of Sydney's best bars with a view to soak up the excitement.

Harbour View Accommodation

With guestrooms directly facing key landmarks set to be awash with light including the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and the Museum of Contemporary Art – guests will be in the passenger seat to soak up all there is to love about the Vivid Spectacular.

Throughout the festival, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is the place to stay for those wanting uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour. The spacious 1 and 2-bedroom harbour view suites all have their own balcony which will ensure guests feel as though they're on top of all the action.

The Ternary at Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour

Want to experience the best of The Ternary in time to experience the best of Sydney's world-famous light show in and around Darling Harbour?

Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour has a few tricks up its sleeve. From 5:30-7pm during Vivid, diners can enjoy a delicious two-course dinner and a special edition Vivid cocktail aptly named 100's and 1000's, for $49 per person.

The two-course feast consists of The Ternary's signature plates: lamb kofta with herb salad, mint and pomegranate yoghurt; chicken dim sim steamed with ginger and shallot chutney; and Betel leafs of smoked flaked salmon with salmon pearls and fried shallots, as well as a pan-fried salmon on ricotta gnocchi, salt roasted cherry tomatoes and sage butter.

The Ternary, which opened to much fanfare in February 2015 has been receiving rave reviews not only for Anthony Flowers' innovative food, but for the new style of dining it has brought to Sydney's restaurant scene.

Harbour Rocks Hotel

Harbour Rocks Hotel which is nestled amongst the cobblestones of The Rocks and seconds from Sydney Harbour is offering revellers cocktails, crepes and a 2-course menu.

Located at entry level to the boutique hotel, Eric's Bar specialises in boutique wines from around the world and offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere for a pre-dinner drink. As part of Vivid Festival, Eric's Bar is offering 2-for-1 cocktails from 5-7pm.

Scarlett Restaurant will be putting on a 2-course dinner with a glass of wine for $45 per person, from 5:30 – 8:30pm during Vivid. Also on offer, the kitchen will be serving 'Vivid Crepes', filled with berries and doubly whipped cream, accompanied by a glass of Cannaletto Proseco.
