A new beach box experience is available on the Mornington Peninsula from MP Experience. Guests are greeted by owner Danielle at her iconic beach box, which she lends out to guests for the day, on Mount Martha beach – one of the most stunning in the area. Everything is provided – towels, water, aeroguard and sunscreen – and entertainment is in the form of a soccer ball, cricket set and frisbee for the kids; body board and snorkel for the teens. Beach chairs, a day bed and cooler as well as a complete picnic setting for up to eight people is also included.
These much sought after beach boxes provide a colourful backdrop for visitors to the tranquil coastline on this side of the peninsula – just an hour from the city. They are icons of the Victorian beachscape and occupy a unique role in bayside beach life. Many of these structures also have historic and cultural significance, dating back to the early 1900’s.
The Beach Box Day out is ideal for romantic occasions, weddings or Christmas card photos.
