Wine Down Pops Up on Prosecco Road

After a successful debut at Warath Hills in Gippsland’s south with an occupany of 94%, the temporary hotel of two upcycled converted shipping containers has moved to Australia’s Prosecco capital from May 6 – June 2.

A change of scenary from the rolling hills of Gippsland’s south to the picturesque King Valley at the foothills of the Alpine National Park, guests will wake up amongst the vines in comfort and sophistication.

Along with the two beautifully crafted eco-luxury converted pods, the Instagram famous Japanese wood-fired Stoked hot tub set amongst the vines has made the move, along with the addition of a new fire pit, as part of the short break experience.

A cornerstone on the popular King Valley Prosecco Road, Dal Zotto Wines has pioneered the sparkling Italian variety since the family planted the first Prosecco grapes twenty years ago.

Visitors can experience genuine Italian family hospitality and the true “la dolce vita” lifestyle at this beautiful Victorian country setting which boasts award winning sparkling and rustic fare in the Trattoria.

With only a limited number of bookings still available for the King Valley and Macedon, those lucky enough to experience Wine Down Pop Up can indulge in the regions quality wine and produce.

Guests can use Wine Down Pop Up to find #YourHappySpace as a hub to explore the region’s acclaimed culinary and artisanal experiences during Feast High Country Festival celebrations or simply slow down, disconnect and recharge.

Along with a range of local places to enjoy a bite or sparkling tipple, including Pizzini Wines, Sam Miranda, Chrismont, Brown Brothers and Mountain View Hotel, visitors can treat themselves to a range of culinary events from May 3-19.

Feast High Country Festival celebrates High Country’s talented chefs, makers, producers and brewers with a range of events and experiences across the region’s beautiful towns and villages for a gastronomical safari.
