For 10 years, locals and visitors alike have been taking a behind-the-scenes look at some of Melbourne’s most interesting, iconic and eye-catching buildings, at the annual Open House Melbourne Weekend.
Taking place this year on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 July, more than 200 buildings around Melbourne will open their doors to the public, with 84 new buildings added to the program this year. The event’s footprint has also been extended into new suburbs Beaumaris, Bangholme, Brighton, Dandenong, Essendon, La Trobe, Mill Park and Ringwood.
With a whole host of events, including tours, talks, screenings, panels, performances and more, there is something for lovers of architecture old and new.
