What's On

The minions have been busy at Butter HQ, gearing up for 2015 Truffle Season. Here's a look at what's happening:

Pepe Saya Truffle Hunts:
Prepare the hounds and grab your gumboots, Pepe Saya Truffle Hunts are coming to The Canberra Region Truffle Festival.

Pepe Saya Butter Company has been using truffles from the Canberra Region in its Australian truffle butter - found on plates all over Australia and even in the skies on Qantas first class flights - since 2011, and this year the partnership has extended all the way to the paddock with Pepe Saya sponsoring truffle hunts as part of the 2015 Canberra Region Truffle Festival.

Held from June 21st to early August, with more than 250 individual events, the Canberra Region Truffle Festival is a fantastic opportunity for food lovers to taste and experience those elusive and prized black truffle.

Further information on the Pepe Saya Truffle Hunts is available at www.trufflefestival.com.au.

Pepe Saya + Duncan Garvey – Truffle Butter:
Pepe Saya and Duncan Garvey will continue their collaboration this year, churning out Pepe Saya Truffle Butter featuring Duncan Garvey truffles. Exciting news for truffle fans, this year the butter contains only Tasmanian truffles.

Tasmanian truffles, grown in cold Southern soils, have the same sweet earthy fragrance and savoury characteristics as the finest truffles from Southern France, and Duncan is reporting prime conditions for the 2015 harvest – that's truffle-tastic!

Pepe Saya Truffle Butter:
Launching in June with spiffy new packaging, Pepe Saya Truffle Butter packs a true truffle taste with a massive 10% truffle (the rest obviously being the cultured butter we all know and love).
Available in 25g, 100g or by the kilogram, Pepe Saya Truffle Butter is being sold through selected retailers Australia wide.

Free Truffle Butter tasting at all the Sydney June markets. Want to try before you buy? Visit the Pepe Saya Butter Stall at Everleigh Markets in Redfern (2nd Saturday every month), Pyrmont Growers' Markets on Saturday, 6th June and Northside Produce Markets in North Sydney on Saturday, 20th June.
