Dr Colin Adrian has been appointed as Chairperson of the ACT Remuneration Tribunal until March 2019. Dr Adrian has been a member of the Tribunal since 2012.

Dr Adrian brings a significant amount of experience to his new role, having previously held the position of Chief Executive of the Canberra Institute of Technology from 2006 until his retirement in 2009. Dr Adrian has more than 23 years experience across the Commonwealth and ACT Public Services.

Dr Adrian has replaced Ms Anne Cahill-Lambert as the Chairperson of the Tribunal. I would like to thank Anne for the contribution she has made to the work of the Tribunal. Anne has been a member of the Tribunal since April 2010 and Chairperson since 1 July 2011.

The Government have also agreed to the appointment of Ms Sandra Lambert to the Remuneration Tribunal for a period of three years until 30 September 2020

Ms Lambert has extensive experience within the ACT Public Sector, most notably holding the Chief Executive position of the then ACT Department of Disability, Housing and Community Services from 2002 - 2010 and the Co-ordinator General for the Commonwealth’s Nation Building Stimulus Program in 2009.

Mr James Smythe PSM continues to be a member of the Tribunal.

The Remuneration Tribunal was established under the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1995 to inquire into and determine the remuneration, allowances and other entitlements for particular office holders.
